Ann, or Annie as she was known, was born on the 17th September 1879 in Cambridge Barracks, Woolwich, England.  She married Henry (Harry) Stewart.  They emigrated to Canada, where they seem to have had a hard life.  Harry used to paint inside the box cars for the railroad and died at the age of 50 from epilepsy.  After his death, the family often had to sleep on the beach to avoid the landlord looking for rent money.

Annie herself was a hairdresser.  She died on 11th December 1951 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  She is buried on Toronto Prospect Cemetary, Plot 28, Sect.279 Single.

Harry was born in 1867.  He died on Sunday 4th February 1917 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.  He was buried on February 6th, 1917, at  Hamilton Cemetary, Section Y, Row 3, Grave 5 (3 Albernarle Ave.)

The 1911 census from Montreal shows Harry & Annie living at 60 Irene St. with children Frances, Dorothy, Harry - and Arthur Sullivan.
